Hi
I work in Bangalore in an MNC.
I have been thinking about moving back to North.
I have never lived in Delhi or Chandigarh.
What would you suggest to me or someone who has
to make this choice?

Bangalore is fully developed in IT industry. North part is still developing in this field. Acc. to me, making carrier is the first aspect of everybody's life. To enter in any big company, is the big achievement. You have got a good opportunity to work in MNC. I suggest you to first have some years of experience, then you can shift to these cities. Till then enjoy your life over their and you can visit these places in holidays.

Actually I have worked for 9 years in Bangalore.
I have heard that many companies are setting up
their offices/centers in changigarh. Whats the ground reality? |

Hi,
I am not sure as to where you are working. But if you are interested in the Northern part of the company there are a number of companies in the Capital such as IBM, CSC, TCS (I am working in it currently) , EDS, Interra etc....
As for the opportunity there are a number of companies where you can try....

Above companies are in Delhi but Chandigarh is also developing much in IT field. Chandigarh Technology Park(CTP) is one of the example of it.

Since I am not in India right now I would like to know as to when Infosys is planning to start in Chandigarh. I have heard that Infosys is currently training 2000+ professionalls for its Chandigarh branch........ When is the office fully operational......
