Chandigarh is a lovely city. If anybody visits this wonderful place once, never goes back. It is a city very much close to the Nature. This city
is full of trees, flowers, full of greenry. For me it is like a paradise on earth .
I have seen the rock garden,sukhna lake & rose garden all are mindblowing & beautiful.People of chandigarh are very warm and friendly.
What do you think of Chandigarh ? share your views.

Chandigarh is a very nice place to visit. I also love Chandigarh. There are many gardens And other places for visitors to have a picnic and enjoy. This city is well maintained, well organised. Every sector has its own market.
There are lot and lot of opportunities for the youngs to become independent as there are lot of companies, big or small, in every field. People can enjoy every kind of food in their choice of restuarants, hotels etc.

Yes Chandigarh is a nice city, well planned,free from pollution and traffic hazards...

I don't think so there are not so many companies and also you are not paid a handsome salary in chandigarh. 
I'd seen Btech and MCA holders working for 3000 rs per month at some reputed IT companies at chandigarh.Is this the trend there to pay rs 3000 to a fresher weahter he/she in graduate,undergraduate or post graduate.
Also appraisal procedure is not fair enough. I don't think you are incremented before 6 months or may be one year in some cases and thats also not fair enough..
May be this is because there is not as much competition at CHD
Hope this will improve with IT park development there. |

my best place in Chandigarh is sector 29 sia temple.its very clean and well maintained .parks and temple are in all the sectors of Chandigarh.and other visiting places like rock garden,lake,rose garden,art gallery mansa devi temple and etc.the first best quality of chd is its cleanness which is spread all over the chd.

i totally agree with superseo regarding the salry dats paid to B.Tech or MCA'S or any graduates , postgraduates freshers.. they are not paid as per their education and course.. there are not much companies in chandigarh.. hope with the upcoming IT park in chandigarh this condition improves better.
