Internet Advertising Spending Expected to Exceed Magazine Advertising Budgets by 2007
Internet advertising spending is expected to outpace that of magazines by 2007, according to a new report published by Jupiter Research. In 2007, online advertisers will spend $13.8 billion, slightly more than the budget for print ads in magazines. However, by 2008, online spending will jump to $15 billion, while magazine spending will remain at $13.8 billion, according to the report. As online budgets grow, experts believe that magazine spending will plateau, but not decrease. |
