File Transfer Protocol (FTP) allows a person to transfer files between two computers that are connected via the Internet. When using FTP, a client is used to connect to a machine that holds the files on a server. The most commonly used FTP protocol is WS FTP for WIN. Fetch is used for Macintosh. FrontPage also has its own FTP built-it feature. |
