The School of Hospitality and Resort Management (SHRM), Singapore has recently launched its first and principal campus in India at Panchkula, an outskirt area of Chandigarh. It will offer higher learning in the hospitality and resort management field. The institute claims to be the first of its kind to introduce its students to the OPERA Software for Front Office Operations.
Speaking about the institute, Sundeep Madhok, General Manager, Business Development, School of Hospitality and Resort Management, Panchkula adds that the school’s aim is to redefine hospitality education in India by introducing good techniques, technologies and industry trends. “We will add a Masters course in Business Study and a Post Graduate in Hospitality to our curriculum by December 2009,” Madhok claims.Read More
