Six teams will compete in the North Zone I and AD Volleyball Tournament 2009-10 which will be held from January 6 to 8 at the Sector 7 Sports Complex here. Principal Accountant General Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad) will defend their titles. Principal AG Himachal Pradesh (Shimla) were the runners-up in the last edition of the tournament.

Giving this information on Monday, Sports and Recreation Club AG Haryana Rajdeep Singh said that Principal Accountant General Punjab S Murugiah will inaugurate the three-day tournament at 11 a.m. on January 6.

Principal AG Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad), Principal AG Punjab, Principal AG Haryana, Principal AG HP (Shimla), AG J and K (Srinagar) and AG Delhi would compete in the tournament.
