According to the order passed by the Punjab and Haryana high Court, to appoint the transgender or female attendants in the school buses has now started following by most of the schools of the city. The UT Administration has updated the court that the city schools and parents have no problems of appointing transgender in the school buses.
However, the parents believe that inspite of male or female, transgender will take care more than the other genders because other people work for the money but the transgender will actually understand the value of their job.
The principal of St. John’s School, Sector-26 has expressed that “Transgender are humans like others and till now they were getting neglected, so the education department should change the education criteria for them because those who are looking for jobs are not compulsory that they should be educated enough.”
