During the meeting of the Board of Inquiry Members, it has been suggested by the Board members that another campus of PGI should get allotted. After the discussion, it has been decided by the Chandigarh Administration that another campus of PGI will get allotted in the two southern sectors.
It has been revealed by the PGI Director YK Chawla that Chandigarh Administration is preparing to allot 100 acre of land for the expansion of premier health institute of the region.
Further, this has also been decided that the faculty members of the PGI who were protesting for better accommodation and infrastructure at hospital will also get redressed as soon as possible.
