Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh wing organized a ” Tiranga Yatra” yesterday. Yatra was started from party Headquarter Kamlam in Sector 33. This Yatra passed from Sector 14 to 20, Sector 24, 25, Sector 27 to 30 and Sector 34 to 37 . Ended at Sector 33 Chandigarh.
All the activists participated in the Tiranga Yatra are riding on scooter, motorcycle, car, jeep and tractors and also carrying Party Flags and National Flags.They also appraise slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, ‘Vande Mataram’.
Local residents and association welcomed this Yatra at different places.
Sanjay Tandon BJP President of Chandigarh wing had thanked all the activists for their participation in this Yatra. He also said that this type of Yatras are being held across the India to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Independence.
For the party activists ‘Sardar The Iron Man of India’ movie was played at Kamlam. He told that PM Narendra Modi appealed to the party members that they celebrate 70th Anniversary of Independence with remembering martyrs who are still unknown. We don’t forget their sacrifice or what they did for the nation.
