Yesterday in Tagore Theatre Teacher’s day was celebrated by the Chandigarh Administration ‘s Education Department . Parimal Rai who is a Adviser was the chief guest.
On this occasion from various schools of Chandigarh 11 teachers are awarded with state award and 6 are given Commendation Certificate for their hard work and dedication. Seema Malhotra and Asatinder Kaur who are National Awardees of 2015 are also awarded on teacher’s day occasion.
On teacher’s day chief guest Parimal Rai congratulated all the teachers and inspire them to do good work as they are doing and also told them that be role models for others .

And also said that teaching is most challenging job in today’s time . Beside the depth knowledge of the subject it also demands passion, thoughtful approach, love of learning and classroom management techniques. All the 17 teachers have all these qualities.
State Award winners are Sukhraj Kaur Sandhu,Seema Chaudhary,Jatinder Kumra,Punita Bawa,Anuradha Gupta,Renu Katoch,Dr Amrita Bhullar,Gurjit Singh Shah,Rajesh Siwach, master,Nirmal Singh,Samidurai,Seema Rani,Nisha,Vinod Prasad Bahuguna ,Suman,Dheerja Sharma,Raj Kumar.
When all these teachers get awards they thanks the Chandigarh administration and said that it was the best and very special gift on the teacher’s day .
