The Chandigarh administration recently launched an “e-Awas” potal in which the allotment of government houses under CAGP will be done online via monthly bidding. Through E-Awas government employees can submit their online application for allotment of house.

During allocation of houses preference will be given to the Senior-most applicant followed by “bidding system” every month. Relevant applicants can submit maximum of three options or bids for allotment of a government house of the type applied. The applicants, who are not selected after the bidding, shall have the alternative to apply their bid in the consecutive month.

The application forms submitted through portal will be examined by House Allotment Committee, Chandigarh and in case of incomplete application form or the application form of ineligible applicants directly rejected by the committee. Once your form get rejected, you can submit a new online application on the official website of the Chandigarh Administration.

As per the report in allotment of vacant houses will be done to the eligible applicants, who failed to participate in the “bid” for allotment of government house and in same case no written request will be accepted by administration department. The intimation of the allotment will done Via SMS to the successful applicants.

NIC professionals will provide the training to all nodal officers, representatives of the Punjab government, Haryana government, Punjab and Haryana High Court to handle the entire procedure of e-Awas project.

Things You Need To Know

Based on the current seniority list applicable applicants can submit a maximum of three bids of the type applied for allotment of a government house.

Applicants, to whom no allotment is done after bidding, have option to apply bid in the coming month.
