Carry ID cards for Disco threats in Chandigarh

People from Chandigarh or outsiders all has to carry their ID cards.Though the “Controlling of Places of Public Amusement, 2016” policy will be implemented at all discos and bars from February 2016, the local authorities have decided to implement it on December 31 as well to ensure that no untoward incident is reported during the celebrations.

For a security, a bulk of the local discotheques and bars have decided to check the ID cards of those upcoming to attend parties on December 31.

It is necessary for security purpose because sometimes police will not identify the person if any accident or problem can happen.
