    The Mohali administration has made special arrangements, including videography of the events and deployment of extra police force, for smooth conduct of mayoral polls scheduled to be held on August 28.While giving information about the arrangements, Ropar divisional commissioner S Karuna Raju informed the Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday that Section 144 of the CPC would be imposed within 500 meters surrounding the venue. An executive magistrate would also be deployed at the meeting venue. It was also directed that all relevant events be duly videographed and the record be produced in the court, if need be.In his detailed affidavit, the commissioner submitted that while conducting the elections, person or persons who raise his/her/their hands in favour of a particular candidate will be segregated, their number will be counted and the counting will be recorded. The entire proceedings of the meeting will be videographed and will be kept for future purpose.
