Mohali civic body may give building bylaws’ relief to residents of 6 villages

The newly lected mayor has said that they plan to relax building bylaws for villages that came under the purview of the Municipal Corporation last year. The proposal regarding this will be taken up in the first meeting of the House which is likely to be held next week. A total of six villages will be benefited if the proposal is approved. Talking to Chandigarh Newsline, Mayor Kulwant Singh said that he had discussed the plan with some officials of the MC and they had also worked out some modalities which would benefit both the residents and the MC.
