A student of Chandigarh University allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in the dining hall of the hostel in the wee hours today.The victim, identified as Muhammad Farhan (about 17 yrs), was first year student of electrical diploma in the university. He was a native of Viratpur, Aurangabad district in Bihar. His brother, Muhammed Dinesh, also studies in a private college at Banur.The police have booked six youths, including three girls, all from the native place of the victim for abetment to suicide.Giving information, inspector Gursewak Singh, Station House Officer of the Gharuan Police Station, said that the victim had posted his suicide note on Facebook account just before taking the extreme step.
