To improve tourism infrastructure at Sukhna Lake, the government has sanctioned Rs.27.3 millions for setting up fountains, a tourism information centre and for landscaping. Talking to reporter home secretary of Chandigarh, Ram Niwas said that, the ministry of tourism has given its nod to the proposal sent by the Chandigarh administration.
The Rs.27.3 millions (Rs.273.31 lakh) central financial assistance is to be spent for improvement and up-gradation of the facilities at Sukhna Lake, said a spokesperson of the Chandigarh administration.Read More
