Osborne recently announced on LinkedIn that he was leaving Jagex after fifteen years of content editing as well as narrative design and lead design OSRS Gold. The decision was made in order to “test [his] experience across the market.” Osborne is leaving Jagex and will be joining Square Enix on the publishing part, as a Senior Designer. He’ll be overseeing “some fantastic games,” beginning with Outriders.

Many gamers or communities would be upset about the loss of a well-known brand, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to post their stories. One commenter, notably, declares that they’ve had to win and lose because they play the game of Runescape along with Outriders.
