Forget your stint with PU if found guilty

Acting promptly on fresh directions issued by UT to ensure safety of freshers on campuses, Panjab University has set a fine example
by becoming the first one to respond as it made an announcement on Friday to incorporate some stringent rules against ragging in its handbook.

In its endeavour to deal with browbeaters with an iron hand, PU has chalked out an array of rules to fight the problem that is every educational institution’s worst nightmare. Ahead of the new academic session, PU has made clear that a student found involved in any kind of violent activity on the campus would be immediately suspended. Following which, a committee having retired high court judge as chairman would probe the matter and come up with an inquiry report. If found guilty, the student will be rusticated.Read
