The UT department of Chandigarh has decided to conduct an online polling for the citizens of Chandigarh to know the opinions regarding the service charge which has been imposed on the restaurants, eating joints and hotels. The polling will be done online at http://www.mygov.in#sthash.nle9DHp8.dpuf national citizen engagement portal. After polling, the administration will get to know about the views regarding the imposition of service charge.
The nodal officer Mr. Danish Ashraf who is handling the charge of Smart city project and also an additional director of food supplies consumer affairs department has presented the poll on MyGov platform which has been assimilated for the Mobile Application of Chandigarh Administration-“Smart city mobile app.”
The residents of the Chandigarh need to caste there vote in either yes or no by persisting on MyGov platform. The online voting will start from 15th September from 11 am onwards for a week. So, the administration will analyze the result after getting the polls of the citizens of Chandigarh.
