The Chandigarh International Airport began the summer schedule of flights from today. Today they further extended their wings by adding an daily direct flight between Chandigarh and Jaipur. However the International flight to Bangkok will start from May, 2017.
As per new schedule,on weekdays the airport will open from 6 am to 10 pm while it will be 8 pm on weekends i.e. on Saturday and Sunday. On first and third Sunday of every month it will remain open till 1 pm.
The Jet airways launched the daily first direct flight between the Jaipur and Chandigarh. Kavita Joshi, GM (Sales), Jet Airways inaugurated the service today by a prayer service and lit a symbolic lamp to mark the occasion.
The guests of the first flight were felicitated with floral presentations by the airlines staff of the Chandigarh International Airport.
