All-India Organization of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD)

On 14th October, the chemists all across the world will protest against the online selling of medicines as it increases the chances for misuse of drugs. This strike is named as All-India Organization of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD). The President Of Chandigarh Chemist Association Mr. Vijay Anand has said that there is a support of 7.5 lakh chemists all across the country who is against this issue. He has said that -"The prescriptions can be fabricated very easily and can be dangerous for people. Also, it believes that in the presence of the government, the committee is regularizing the illegal act and it can also cause the danger to the life of people."
