Enforce ban on plastic bags, NGT directed UT Administration

NGT today tell the UT Administration to enforce the ban on plastic items such as bags, glasses and plates. The Tribunal has directed that if any person found storing,dealing with or distributing such plastic items will have to pay Rs 5,000 as a environmental compensation.
