Why Does My Canon Printer Print Black Lines?

If you rely on your printer for your daily office work and suddenly see that the printer is printing black lines, then it is understandable if you panic. There are times when the printer glitches and leads to problems like these. There is a possibility that the printer leaves streaks or gaps in the pages that are printing, and there’s nothing that you can do to solve it. Well, this could be possible for several reasons, and it is important that you try and learn to troubleshoot these errors. Low Ink Levels If the Canon printer uses ink cartridges, then you might have noticed streaks in your print jobs if the cartridges are low. One empty ink cartridge might be the one that is creating the problem of canon printer printing black lines. And an empty colour cartridge results in poor quality, streaky print jobs in black and white. Damaged print cartridge If you are loading a black or colour ink cartridge into the Canon printer, then make sure that the ink doesn’t come out, because this causes the cartridge to become damaged. And if the cartridge is damaged, the ink may bleed, which leaves streaks of black or colour across the page and leads to printer just prints blank pages. In such a situation, remove all of the printer’s ink cartridges. And then check for spilled ink on the base. Hopefully, these will help you solve the issue and bring your printer back to normal. Then you’ll be able to print normally.
