A Hindi comedy play “Khajoor Mein Atka” being played by the Khela Natya Sansthan as a group supported by Pracheen Kala Kendra and others. Mr. Jairoop Jeevan wrote the play and the designing and direction were done by Namrata Sharma.
The play is all about Shanti who plays the leading role. Shanti reads a lot of detective novels and keeps linking it to real-life people and events. The peppy entertainment is provided by her confrontation with four thieves that entered her house with imaginary identity.
Where most of the artists stood by perfect timing some of them were caught overacting with loud expressions and voices. On the other hand, Namrata, husband Naveen, servant Chanchal and Daman Chhokar were brilliant. The sound and music proved beneficial to the play too.
