Special Session on Crossing Frontiers – the Journey of Building CII : 1730 hrs, 1 October 2015, Chandigarh
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is the apex business organization, which works very closely with the Central and State Governments on many developmental agendas focusing on economic and social perspectives. CII has a history of 120 years, since its inception in 1895. Its industry members & other stakeholders like State Governments, Academic Institutions and civil society have significantly contributed in developing the organisation and continue to do so.
Many of the milestones achieved by the organisation are captured in the recently released publication titled – “Crossing Frontiers – the Journey of Building CII” authored Mr Tarun Das, Former Chief Mentor of CII.
At the request of the membership at large, Mr Das would be visiting Chandigarh on 1st October to share his thoughts and experiences on the book and the journey of building CII at a Session being held. Mr Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII would also be joining this special session.
In this context, I am writing to cordially invite you to join us at this Session from 1730 – 1900 hrs on Thursday, 1 October 2015 at CII NR Headquarters, Sector 31 – A, Chandigarh. The session will be preceded by Hi-Tea at 1730 hrs.
