It is a moment of pride for our city as Capitol Complex gets the Heritage Status. The Administration ensures all the residents that we will conserve and preserve this Heritage Site and make the city a major international tourism destination. The site got inscribed as part of the UN body’s recognition of Le Corbusier’s architectural works in different parts of the world.
Chandigarh literacy rate stands at 86.77% which is much better than overall literacy rate of India at 74.04%. As Chandigarh is a growing city, literacy rate in the near future needs more improvement.
