active 8 months, 3 weeks agoStudio Jagex, a game maker Jagex is most likely to be famous for its massive Runescape franchise, however, a lot of people might not be aware that OSRS Gold the studio is expanding its offerings to include publishing as well as even tabletop gaming.
Jagex recently announced that it had made a deal with independent producer Outlier Games to publish the debut game by the studio, the spaceship management game This Means Warp. The game is scheduled to be released on PC via Steam Early Access on March 17.
Designed with multiplayer and replayability in mind, this Means Warp encourages players to work together and think strategically during hectic, combative space battles that are real-time and employ shrewd strategies to guide their ship through the hostile, procedurally created universe.
Taking inspiration from roguelikes like FTL and party games like Overcooked This Means Warp sees players control crew members on board an ship, managing various equipment, aiming weapons, conducting repairs, and ultimately mapping out a path through the treacherous space void.
