I had almost the same thing happen in a coworking space jumped into a call, left in a rush, and my phone stayed charging at the desk. Didn’t notice for like 20 minutes, came back expecting the worst, but it was still there. After that I stopped relying on luck. I’ve been using uMobix phone tracker app since then setup was quick, and location tracking’s been reliable when I tested it. Just gives some extra peace of mind.
