This is for your information that DeitY/ NeGD is coordinating to organize “Digital India Week”, in the first week of July 2015 across nation at various level. STPI is coordinating with all of its centre and sub centre and its active STP unit for this Digital India Week program.
In this regard, please find attached herewith Objectives, Program Agenda for “Digital India Week”
you are requested to nominate nodal officer of your unit for coordinating and Organizing this event and forward his/her contact details to Mr. Sanjay Kumar at sanjaykumar@stpi.in with a copy to undersigned for information.

Pre-Event Activities ( during last week of June 2015)
Posting of event details on the Organization’s website/ social media pages etc and
mailers to the employees and other members
Inviting local media personnel at the event
Registration of Participants
Main Event (during first week of July 2015)
(5 min) Start with National Anthem
(30 min) Inauguration- Unit/Institution Director/Head, Invitees for the programme
o 5 Min. speech (focus on Digital India, ICT industry, employment etc)
o Digital India Films and Promos ( which will be shared by NeGD)
(60 min) Session around the following topics (professionals, researchers, NIC, IT Dept
etc)
o Digital India
o Digital service/e-services
o IT industry & trade
o Cyber security & hygiene; e-Waste and Swachh Digital India
(120 min- optional) Digital India Exhibition
o Broadcast/streaming of IEC videos & other audio-visuals content of Digital India
o Stalls by local industries etc to showcase their digital products/services
o Demo of STPI Services ( which will be shared by STPI)
Posting of updates, photos on organization’s website/ Social Media pages etc
Post Event Activities
o Reports (Online submission of event report) – Number of Participants, Details about
programme and items included in the programme, photographs, feedback from
participants etc
o Posting of local news coverage at Unit/Institute’s website/ Social Media pages etc
The objectives of the Digital India Week are as below:
Inform, educate and engage with citizens through organization of events at large
number of Digital Points of Presence such as CSCs/ Post Offices, Schools, Gram
Panchayats etc.,
Connect all netizens through Digital Media campaigns and events
Inform all about the vision, services and benefits of the Program
Popularize and expand the reach of existing e-services, plan and launch new
services
Educate citizens on functional digital literacy, cyber security, cyber hygiene,
ensure better utilization of Digital infrastructure during the DI Week and beyond
Incentivize, motivate and connect citizens with the Digital India Program.
