The state government ordered the transfer of three IPS officers on administrative grounds with immediate effect. Arpit Shukla has been transferred and posted as IGP (Zonal-II), Jalandhar, Gaurav Yadav will continue as IGP (HQ) at Chandigarh and MK Tiwari has been entrusted with the additional charge of vacant post of Additional Director General of Police/Security, Punjab, at Chandigarh.
