The UT Education Department on Monday issued a notice stating that in case a candidate could not get a seat in the first, second and third round of counselling for admission to class XI, he/she might submit the application form on August 27. Even after three counselling sessions for admission to class XI, over 150 seats are still lying vacant in 13 government schools. Around 450 students in the humanities stream and 200 students in the science stream are on the waiting list. The admission forms are still available free of cost at the six designated centres: Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 10; GMSSS-28; GMSSS-40; GMSSS-20; GMSSS-46 and GMSSS- Modern Complex, Manimajra.
