The bomb disposal team took five hours to declare that it was a fake bomb.
After the Dinanagar terror attack on Monday, a bomb-like device found near the bus stand in Gurdaspur kept the Punbjab Police on their toes once again on Thursday. The Gurdaspur police called the bomb disposal team from PAP Jalandhar to examine a device which looked like a bomb. It was made with potash, coal, stones, wires, coils and other paraphernalia. A beauty parlor owner saw the device first. She called the police control room, already on high alert. Police reached the spot and cordoned it off. Then they called the bomb disposal team.
