Sold the family home after 22 years and now moving into a smaller condo in the same city. You’d think a shorter distance means easier but honestly the amount of stuff we’ve accumulated is wild. Anyone hired local movers in Orlando for a downsizing situation and can share how it went?

Oh this hits close to home. We downsized two years ago after 18 years in our house and I genuinely underestimated how much stuff two people can collect over that time. We thought one truck would do it. It did not. A neighbor recommended orlandoexpressmovers.com and honestly it was the smoothest part of the whole chaotic process. They showed up on time, handled our furniture carefully and didn’t disappear for a two-hour lunch break like the last crew we hired years ago. For a local move the pricing was fair and no surprise fees at the end. One tip: donate ruthlessly BEFORE the movers arrive. Every box you eliminate saves you real money on time.
