I just updated to the latest version after learning that Rockstar updated GTA V for PS3. It looks better than version 1.0. Maybe they changed something in the rendering? It just looks better now.

I didn’t know 720p could look this good.The game still runs at 720p and then the TV or console upscales the image to a higher resolution, which can make the picture look cleaner and more pleasing. Sometimes, updates may have slightly tweaked post-processing, contrast, or image stability which, also affects the overall experience. This is why the game appears to look better even though the underlying graphics haven’t changed. Incidentally, similar versions and digital keys for the game, such as the GTA V Rockstar key are often used in newer editions that already include improvements for modern platforms.
Who has time to watch twenty-minute news clips just to get one minute of actual info?
