I am working on a business idea in Kathmandu and I have a solid concept, but I need help validating the market and putting together a proper financial plan. I have never used a consultant before and I am worried it might be a waste of money for a small startup. Does anyone have experience with local consulting services here?

I worked with a consulting firm when I was setting up my business and it was genuinely worth it. They helped me with everything from market research and financial projections to actually registering the company. What I liked is that they are entrepreneurs themselves, so they understand the real challenges of starting up in Nepal. They also offered free mentoring sessions early on, which was a great way to test if I needed their help. Their team has a lot of experience and they have worked with over 500 entrepreneurs. They helped me refine my business model and even connected me with potential investors. If you want to get a clearer picture of what they offer, take a look at https://biruwa.net/ . I found their approach practical and grounded, not just theoretical advice.

That is really encouraging to hear. I was worried that consultants might only be for big companies. The free mentoring session sounds like a low-risk way to test if I need help. I will check out their site and see what services they offer. Thanks for the detailed feedback. It helps a lot.
