What are the most common mistakes beginners make when creating a logo? I want to avoid common mistakes. What is important to consider to make a logo look professional and how to avoid frequent problems at the start?

Beginners often make several mistakes when creating logos. One of them is using overly complex elements that overload the design. A logo should be simple and memorable. It must be versatile and look good on different media. Another mistake is using trending elements that may become outdated. It is better to create evergreen logos, like Nike or Apple, which remain relevant for years. Also, do not overload the logo with colors or fonts – it is better to use no more than two colors for readability and recognition.

The main mistake beginners make is making the logo complicated. Simplicity always works better. Sometimes it can also be difficult to choose the right colours or fonts, making the logo hard to see. It is helpful to put the work aside and come back to the logo later to see it with fresh eyes.
