Although PGI administration has bought time by considering the formation of a review committee to look into the demands of the nurses association, nurses have refused to budge. The association recently held a protest march demanding equal working hours for all. Association members alleged that around 500 recently recruited nurses were being forced to work eight hours a day while other nurses work six hours a day and get the same pay grade for the same work.
