Panjab University will propose a change in the nomenclature of the master of business and economics (MBE) course to MA economics from the next academic session in the Syndicate meeting scheduled to be held on August 31. Interestingly, the colleges that are offering the course had recommended that on the lines of Delhi University, PU allow them to continue with the course but ignoring their demand, the proposal will be tabled during the Syndicate.
