Three months after Sukhmanpreet Singh, alias Sippy, was shot dead at a park in Sector 27, the UT police have failed to make a headway in the case. Dejected over the progress of the police investigation, the victim’s family may soon approach the CBI. Since the day of crime, the UT police are groping in the dark despite the fact that an SIT was constituted to crack the case.Sippy’s kin have staged several protests including one outside the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi, met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and gave representations to several dignitaries.
