As expected, micro-blogging website Twitter just dropped the 140-character limit from direct messages, bowing down to the number one request of users giving them the freedom to say what’s on their mind without having to be bother about word limits. Of course there is still a word limit, up to 10,000 characters to be precise. But, that’s a lot, right?Twitter has rolled out the new 10,000 characters limit for direct or private messages for its mobile app, desktop app, as well as the web.
