    Buying a new vehicle in the city will cost more with the Chandigarh Administration effecting a hike of 0.7 per cent in the value added tax on new vehicles.Besides this VAT on petrol has also been increased by Rs 2.36 paise per litre in the city.

    This vat will put burden on common people pocket and budget also.
