    While political parties are opposing the imposition of house tax on city residents, yet 5,500 residents have already deposited the house tax within 15 days of the imposition of the tax. According to MC records, till August 26, 5,500 residents had paid the house tax and the MC had made a collection of Rs 1 crore.
