An Activision Blizzard representative told the outlet they’re not releasing Diablo Immortal won’t be released in Belgium and buy d2r items the Netherlands for any reason and cited “current operating conditions for games in those regions” as the primary reason. This applies to both PC and mobile versions.
Belgium is known for its constant battle with loot containers. When an in-game item is able to be purchased using actual money and if luck plays a significant role to acquiring it, it violates local gambling law. As for the Netherlands it is opposed to loot containers, that are of economic worth.
