Chandigarh (PTI): The Chandigarh Administration, in association with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), is going to organize the second Chandigarh Film Festival in the Knowledge City here from February 1 to 4.

Punjab Governor and Union Territory Administrator Gen (Retd) S F Rodrigues had announced during the first film festival held last year that it would be an annual feature.

Giving information in this regard here today, an official spokesman said that as many as 20 films would be screened in the festival including renowned national and international movies at various venues.

Six international films would be screened which would include two Hungarian films, one Italian, one Austrian, one Iranian and one film from Holland. The remaining 14 films would include nine Hindi movies, four children films and one animated movie. One screening would be held of each international film, two screenings of each Hindi film, one each of the children movie and animated film.

A conference and an animation workshop would also be organized by CII on February 2. Various prominent film personalities like Yash Chopra, Shyam Benegal, Anupam Kher and M S Sathyu would be present during the festival.
