Chandigarh Choose To Pay Cash Over Cashless Donation Move

Tricity devotees keep technology distant from faith. At the first day of Navratra Rs 14.23 lakh in cash offered at Mansa Devi temple. However the Administration have full arrangement to go cashless by taking money through Paytm mobile wallet

As per Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board authorities as many of 95,000 people visited the temple yesterday and a total of Rs 14.23 lakh offered in cash whereas only Rs 372 was received via Paytm mobile wallet. Apart from money 2 gold and 31 silver ornaments was donated by the devotees.

When asked commoners  about using Paytm for donation, a local resident from Chandigarh said, “It actually feels odd to be paying for donation through your phone; it is better to keep technology away from faith.”
