The counseling for the admission of MA(Punjabi) is to be held on 23rd July around 10 AM at Dept of Punjabi. The minimum qualification for graduation for general students is 50% whereas 45% for SC/ST students. There are a total of 68 seats and admissions will be done on the basis of merit. The applicants who studied Punjabi in the graduation will be given 15% weightage. However, the students who had Punjabi honors will be rewarded with 20% weightage.
Weightage according to the grades of the applicants who are involved in NSS, NCC and, other sports will be delivered. The minimum weightage will be 5%. The candidates who are not present at the first counseling will not be allowed to attend the next one.
