“The colonies and villages should be brought at par with the rest of the city,” said Congress candidate for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections Pawan Kumar Bansal while addressing a rally at Dhanas village on Sunday.
While assuring that the General Power of Attorney will be allowed in the Chandigarh Housing Board, Bansal also said amendments will be made in building bylaws to necessitate the modification in CHB residences.
Enlisting a series of upcoming developmental works in progress, Bansal said over Rs 4.5 crore has been allocated for the construction of a bridge connecting Panjab University and Dhanas. He added that the Rehabilitation Settlement Bill has already been passed in the Lok Sabha.
