CHANDIGARH: Punjab Governor and UT administrator Gen (retd) SF Rodrigues, on Friday, visited the restructured Le Corbusier Centre at Sector 19 which has a souvenir shop showcasing art works of the versatile genius.

The walls of this centre have been adorned with replicas of art works of Le Corbusier, which include tapestries and paintings that have also been inscribed on products like T-shirts, ties, mugs, plates, tiles, key-rings.

The outlet is a treat for tourists from all across the world.

Eminent architects, designers and other senior officers of Chandigarh administration, including home secretary Ram Niwas and administrator saw the exhibits and took keen interest in the creative works displayed on the occasion.

Appreciating the initiative, he said, Corbusier’s legacy was aesthetically exhibited through his artworks from the Le Corbusier Foundation.
