Teams of the district administration had conducted surprise examination in the city or areas near to city and found nearly 100 kg Chinese crackers that are illegally sold at stalls.
The use of Chinese crackers is banned as it is not certified and very harmful for the health. Team of the SDM (East) Danish Ashraf, examine in Mani Majra, Mauli Jagran and Ram Darbar firecracker shops and found Chinese crackers and they destroyed about 35 kg of Chinese crackers.
Not only this but the Pollution Control and Environment Department also checked the sound of the crackers that they are under their sound category or not by using “sound-level meter”.
