The Programme of “Digital India” which has been introduced by the Central Government has been joined by PGI to make the online appointments of OPD, to check the stock of blood bank and also can get the reports online. For using the online facility of PGI, people have to register themselves on the web portal of ‘Online Registration System’ (ORS; http://ors.gov.in).
The process of Online Registration is very simple which will get operated through ORS. In this, a person has to fill their Mobile number or the Aadhaar number. During filling of form, the details will automatically get fetched-out but in case the information doesn’t get prompted then the individual has to fill their respective details asked in the form. After that the resident has to choose the name of the hospital and the department too in which they want to the appointment. Once the appointment get fix, the person will get the confirmation message on their phone through SMS.
However, this similar procedure will be followed to view the laboratory report on the PGI’s Website http://pgimer.edu.in. . Thus, patients can get their online reports through the website and can also get the appointment of the relevant date.
